Computer Lab Use

The Lena-Winslow School District has gone to great extremes to make computers and computer technology available to all students needing and desiring them. It should be understood that these computers are available for the primary purpose of academic enhancement. It is also understood that fun activities are available on these computers and may be used in this fashion under the directives of the technology department computer contract and procedures developed by the School District.

Details concerning the acquisition of a computer pass to the labs can be found in the “Computer Use Contract” which is signed by students and parents wishing to use the lab. In brief, a pass to the computer lab must be secured from the teacher for whom the work is due. A pass must be for one individual only and must state the purpose for which the student is to use the computer lab. When the student is released to the computer lab, the teacher will sign it and put the time left for the lab. When returning to the original room, the student must have the computer lab supervisor sign the pass and put the time leaving the lab.
