Sites include: activities, lesson plans, holidays, special needs, teaching tips, education resources, and assessment for Elementary Teachers.

 

Just pick and choose which sites and activities are good for you. Mix them up! Only you know what you need to teach and when.

B =  Blue Web'n    - has  useful web-based tutorials, activities, projects, lesson plans, hotlists, resources, and references and tools.  The selection of teaching-oriented sites, subdivided by subject area, is particularly fine and is kept up-to-date.  This is very likely the best education site on the internet.

The Busy Teachers' WebSite K-12 offers specific lesson plans and projects for many subjects, as well as opportunities for classes to participate in ongoing "interactive web projects."

H =   Hazel’s Homepage - A wonderful resource, particularly for elementary teachers, and for those who want to integrate technology and design a web site!

 Monthly Holidays and Celebrations  ...a great collection of links to holiday information and resources, but this site also includes content-related celebrations such as the birth of the Internet and Paul Revere's birthday. 

 

 This History/Social Studies Web Site includes humanities as well, and has a large collection of relevant links.  The size of the collection here can be daunting at times and not all links are annotated, but there are many gems to be found.  The websites in the Creative Applications section are chosen for the way they creatively utilize the web's educational potential; check them out!

I = Illusions  - This site is simply amazing to visit. Self-described as "An interactive guide to optical illusions", the SandlotScience site is one of those sites you just want to show everyone.  Escher would have loved this place I believe.  Contrast, distortion, art, music, animal, mystery, and much more. Fascinating site!
